Change your product name!
Branding is important. I "get" your brand -- OCR with the power and speed of a v'raptor.
But I can't help but think people will see it and think, "velo-CRAP-tor."
It would be a shame for a great product to be hampered by a crappy name.
Thanks for this Steven. VelOCRaptor is a bit of an experiment – working title turned domain name I suppose. I’ll be really interested to see if other people agree with you.

I agree with both Steven and Nick.
I had an exchange on these two topics (name and icon) long ago when you first started selling the program.
1. As art the icon is bad Disney. And childhood associations with dinosaur raptors do not comport with grownup computer users. I think the dinosaur craze in the US is subsiding. I appreciate the attempt at a little visual wit, but please hire a different artist. And besides, there is no evidence that dinosaurs were reading Mao's Little Red Book.
2. As for the name, why not just drop the last four letters? Retaining the initial letters will simplify transition. And why do you need to "raptor" anybody? -

How about "VelOCiRaptor" or "velOCiRaptor"?

You can vote for this, or for the suggestion to keep our product name

Thanks for the feedback. Opinions do seem divided on the name, so I'm going to set up a "Keep your product name" option and see which gets more votes.
As for the icon, I know that he could do with some work to fit in with rest of Leopard. I'll get on to it.

I have to agree with Steven here, and while we're at it, the icon? It's amusing, but it does not connote the streamlined efficiency that the app aims for. It is the primary visual face of the app for casual observers, so it does matter.

I've noticed that when I typed name in lowercase.
